I didn't think that's how rainbows worked, and if this wasn't National Geographic posting I would have called BS. I thought it was more like a mirage, where you can't ever reach it, it's position is relative to where you're standing. I guess it is in an actual location, and the pilot was just on one side of it, so took this picture through it, almost like a filter?
Or maybe it's a filter, which would be easy enough to create and apply. But gorgeous!
I run into these assholes on Jacksonville freeways all the time. I had one guy blow by me at about 140 miles an hour. He was weaving out of traffic at the same time. I mean we’re not talking empty roads here and he was still doing that kind of speed. You know I don’t mind them doing that as long as they get killed and don’t take anybody else with them.
